UTS EMBA Course Overview
The UTS Executive MBA is designed for experienced professionals and aspiring change makers, innovators, start-up founders and indigenous leaders. It is for those who are looking to further develop their strategic leadership skills, confidence and innovation management capabilities to respond to complex challenges and lead sustainable economic development.
The program provides an integrative experience that facilitates students’ transition from tactical to strategic roles and builds their professional capabilities, networks and the confidence to create their next career chapter.
The flexible modular structure of the program allows students to study the program in stages, leveraging online and immersive, interaction-rich in-class learning.
UTS EMBA Course Structure
Students must complete a total of 72 credit points. The course is made up of 8 core subjects worth 36cp including a 12cp Strategic Design Studio and 6cp Adaptive Leadership Lab, the choice of completing one stream in Corporate Transformation, an Entrepreneurship Major or the Indigenous Stream worth 24cp and 12cp worth of EMBA Options.

Accreditation
The University of Technology Sydney and UTS Business School holds AACSB Accreditation.
Admission Requirements
Applicants must have completed a UTS recognised bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent or higher qualification, or submitted other evidence of general and professional qualifications that demonstrates potential to pursue graduate studies.
Professional Experience Requirement: At least six years full-time, or part-time equivalent, professional work experience.
The relevant work experience must be demonstrated through a C.V. and a Statement of Service, confirming the dates of employment, and the position held within the organisation.
Interview Requirement: Attend an interview with the director of the EMBA.
Students who complete the UTS Graduate Certificate in Executive Business Practice (C11327) or Graduate Certificate in Executive Management (C11338) require at least a credit average for admission into the EMBA program.
The English proficiency requirement for international students or local applicants with international qualifications is: Academic IELTS: 7.0 overall with a writing score of 6.5; or TOEFL: paper based: 584-609 overall, internet based: 94-101 overall with a writing score of 24; or AE6: Pass; or PTE: 65-72 overall with a writing score 58; or CAE: 185-190 with a writing score 176.
